South Texas Walk of Fame

June 5, 2010

The 7th Annual Celebration of the South Texas Music Walk of Fame, which took place at the Water Street Market in Corpus Christi, Texas on June 5, 2010 was a great success thanks to the dedication and hard work of so many people, but more specifically, Sue Donahoe and Brad Lomax.

At the 2010 Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, the newest stars were unveiled, which included:   Agapito Zuniga, Terri Hendrix, Mike Blakely, Michael O'Connor, Ponty Bone, and Geronimo Trevino III.  It was a beautiful and memorable recognition, which will be cherished by many for years to come.

The South Texas Music Walk of Fame would not be what it is today but for the generosity and support of Brad Lomax.  Mr. Lomax's continued wherewithal and support of this yearly event serves to showcase Water Street Market and the diversity of musicians from all walks of life and cultures who reside in this great City of Corpus Christi.  The artists whose stars embrace the walkway of the Water Street Market are a clear reflection of the composition of the wealth of musical talent that exists in South Texas.

This long-lasting tribute and recognition afforded to Agapito Zuniga--our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and husband--will forever endear his family's hearts.
